is in the heart of Austin, TX,
about 1/2 mile from Lady Bird Lake on the Colorado River which runs right through downtown Austin. (If you were looking for the gardening/photography blog based in the Pacific Northwest, look for Genovieve’s Garden on Facebook. We’re sorry if it’s confusing, but they are also using gensgarden in some of their internet/social media addresses.)
GeneviEve’s Garden is a complex of residence buildings and gardens near downtown Austin, TX. Our most outstanding feature is a 100+ -year-old Victorian cottage, which has been approved for a city Historical Marker, and that we saved from demolition nearby and moved to Monroe St. We have renovated it, using green building methods and energy saving features, into a two bedroom, two bath, vacation rental home which is now ready for you. See our listing on VRBO.com or HomeAway for more details and amenities.
Contact us for a tour or to make a reservation.
We’d like to share with you our renovation story and our vision for our little piece of Austin. Go to Our Story for a bit of history on the salvaging of Heritage House. See The Buildings for more pictures and more about the other two buildings on the lot.
