Gen’s Blog – What’s Going On?
There is so much to do in Austin, and I want to share all of the fun things to do, places to see, and favorite restaurants to visit with everyone who stays at GeneviEve’s Garden and all their family and friends. To do this, I have created Gen’s Blog of What’s Going On. To keep my menu down to a reasonable size, I set it up so you can just start on this page and select the current or previous month to see what wonders I have found for you.
Some events will repeat at approximately the same time every year, like music and film festivals and I’ll blog about them in the corresponding month, but sometimes I may just want to tell you about a great tourist destination, a favorite place to eat, or a place I have discovered with great drink specials. For now, you’ll have to scan the blogs for that kind of stuff. Hopefully, Favorite Places will get their own page before too long and I’ll move all that information over.

I’ve added a button to the right side of the page where you can subscribe to GeneviEve’s Garden to get e-mail notifications of updates to the blog (either immediately, daily, or weekly, depending on the frequency you choose).
This is a WordPress site, but subscribers do not need to be registered with WordPress.com to get e-mail notifications. Anyone subscribing with an email address not associated with a WordPress.com account will be sent details of how to confirm and manage their subscriptions without needing to register at WordPress.com.
